Modeling and Computation
We focus on the modeling and prediction of the propagation of sound and vibration
in solid/fluid structures. We can make theoretical/computational predictions of
the scattering properties of rigid surfaces.
Computational Solvers: We have Navier-Stokes
parallel solver, ideally suited for flows in complex geometries. Helmholtz equation solvers for complex geometries. Advection/diffusion solvers, and boundary element solvers for Stokes flows.
We have hybrid Monte Carlo solvers. We use linux clusters as compute servers.
We can design and implement Kalman and particle filter/smoothers for estimation, prediction, or for control.

Consultancy
Our consultancy service offers assistance in the modeling and prediction of the interaction of sound and solids.
We have computational experience in ultrasonic and thermal radiation in biological materials.
